On the 22nd, SmartDongSchool announced that it took part as a panelist in the Scale-Up Summit hosted by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) and Mind the Bridge.
Held on the 20th at D.CAMP Seolleung, the event brought together representatives from ENI, SAP, L’Oréal, Deutsche Telekom, Woongjin ThinkBig, and others for panel discussions and networking.
Mind the Bridge is a Silicon Valley-based open innovation consulting accelerator, founded in 2007. It provides innovation advisory services to large corporations in the U.S. and Europe and supports startups with global expansion through corporate connections and acceleration programs.
Founded by former Google executive Marco Marinucci, Mind the Bridge boasts a portfolio that includes two unicorns: Sysdig and Samba TV. Its Innovation Center in San Francisco housed early-stage startups like Instagram, Grammarly, TaskRabbit, Sun Basket, and Twilio, helping them achieve success. Many Fortune 500 companies have also joined its open innovation programs.
At the event, SmartDongSchool CEO Jun-gyu Na presented their newly launched product, DoteTimer, and participated in a panel discussion on the importance of the metaverse and the future of edtech.
He stated, “We will continue to explore ways to collaborate with global companies like SAP, Germany’s top company by market cap, through open innovation,” adding, “We are currently in discussions to provide educational programs for SAP Learning.”
